What Are In-App Notifications?
In-app notifications appear in the bell in the top bar while you use Day Off. For example, a new request waiting for your approval, or a decision on your own request.
Step 1: Open Manage notifications
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of Day Off and choose Manage notifications.
Step 2: Switch In-app notifications on or off
Under Leave Request Notifications, click the In-app notifications toggle. With it off, leave request notifications no longer appear in the bell.
Good to Know
- Emails and push notifications are separate. Turning off in-app notifications doesn’t stop them.
- Approvers who rely on the bell to spot new requests should keep this on.
- These settings only change what you receive. They don’t affect other people or the email templates your admin sets up for the company.
