You can add official holidays in Day Off to ensure they are automatically reflected in your team’s calendar.
Steps to Add Holidays
To Add official holidays:
- Go to Company Settings on the web version
- Go to the Locations and Holidays section
- Click on the location name
- Go to Official holidays
- Click on “Import holidays from Google”
- Select the Country name
- Click find holidays
- Select all holidays or select the official holidays you want to apply them
- Click confirm
or - Click on add holiday
- Add the official holiday’s name
- Select the start and end date
- Click Save
Why Add Official Holidays?
Adding holidays helps you:
- Ensure holidays are not deducted from leave balances
- Keep the team calendar accurate
- Manage different holidays per location
Location Based Holidays
- You can assign holidays to specific locations
- Useful for companies with teams in different countries
- Each location sees only its relevant holidays
