Whats the difference between approvers and watchers?
In Day Off, both approvers and watchers are involved in the leave request process but they have very different roles.
Approvers
Approvers are responsible for taking action on leave requests.
They can:
- Approve or reject requests
- Receive notifications when a request is submitted
- Control whether a request is accepted or not
Approvers are a key part of the approval workflow and directly impact the request status.
Watchers
Watchers are included for visibility only.
They can:
- View leave requests
- Receive notifications about requests
- Stay informed about team activity
However, they cannot approve or reject requests.
