How to add official holidays?

You can add official holidays in Day Off to ensure they are automatically reflected in your team’s calendar.

Steps to Add Holidays

To Add official holidays:

  • Go to Company Settings on the web version
  • Go to the Locations and Holidays section
  • Click on the location name 
  • Go to Official holidays
  • Click on “Import holidays from Google”
  • Select the Country name 
  • Click find holidays 
  • Select all holidays or select the official holidays you want to apply them
  • Click confirm

  • Click on add holiday 
  • Add the official holiday’s name
  • Select the start and end date
  • Click Save

Why Add Official Holidays?

Adding holidays helps you:

  • Ensure holidays are not deducted from leave balances
  • Keep the team calendar accurate
  • Manage different holidays per location

Location Based Holidays

  • You can assign holidays to specific locations
  • Useful for companies with teams in different countries
  • Each location sees only its relevant holidays
