What Does “Comp Off” Mean?

Comp Off is typically used when:

  • An employee works extra hours
  • Works on a weekend or public holiday

Instead of overtime pay, the employee receives time off for using it later.

How It Works

  • The employee earns compensatory time based on extra work
  • They submit a Comp Off request to earn time they worked as extra time off balance to be used later
  • The request goes through the approval workflow
  • Once approved, balance is added
