What the Permission Allows
Time tracker reports lets people view and export time tracking reports across the company, including the Detailed and Summary reports. It’s a good fit for finance, payroll, or operations staff who need the numbers but shouldn’t change settings.
How to Give Access
- Go to Settings & integrations > Security > Permissions.
- Click Add permission group, or open the permission group you want to change.
- Scroll to the time tracker permissions.
- Choose Allow or Deny for each one.
- Click Save.
Set Time tracker reports to Allow. Then assign the permission group to the right people from their profile in People > Employees.
Good to Know
- This permission covers the whole company. If someone should only see their own team, use Attendance review with the Team or Subordinates option instead.
- Reports are view and export only. Changing time still needs the right timesheet access.
- To keep a role read-only, leave Time tracker settings and Manage projects set to Deny.
