Short Answer
People with the Time tracker settings permission set to Allow. Admins have it by default.
What the Permission Covers
- The time tracker configuration: the tracking mode (Clock in / Clock out or Task tracker), time editing, time visibility, required approval, and the approval workflow.
- Clients: adding, editing, and managing the clients your projects are billed to.
How to Give It to Someone
- Go to Settings & integrations > Security > Permissions.
- Click Add permission group, or open the permission group you want to change.
- Scroll to the time tracker permissions.
- Choose Allow or Deny for each one.
- Click Save.
Set Time tracker settings to Allow. Then assign the permission group to the right people from their profile in People > Employees.
Keep It Limited
These settings apply to the whole company, so give this permission only to the few people who own how your team tracks time. Everyone else can stay on Deny.
