Reason 1: There’s no time in the selected period
The button only works when the selected period has unsubmitted time. On a new week with nothing tracked yet, it stays greyed out. Track your time first, then submit.
Reason 2: You’ve already submitted this period
If every day in the period is already Pending or Approved, there’s nothing left to submit. Check the status next to each day in Time > Tracker.
Reason 3: The wrong period is selected
Check the date field in the top-right. You might be looking at a different week from the one you meant to submit. Use the arrows or a preset such as Last week to switch.
Reason 4: Your company doesn’t require approval
When approval is turned off, there’s no submission step at all. Your time is simply recorded, and your admins and approvers can still view it.
Find What Still Needs Submitting
If an older period has unsubmitted time, your timesheet shows a yellow banner: “Your timesheet for … is not submitted yet!”. Click Review now to open those days, then click Submit timesheet.
