Step 1: Finish your day first
Clock out, or stop your timer, before you submit. Once a day is submitted, it’s locked: you can’t add more time, continue a clocked-out day, or change its entries.
Step 2: Open your time
Go to Time > Tracker, or open Time > Timesheets and click your name. Both show your time for the selected week, day by day.
Step 3: Choose the period to submit
Use the date field in the top-right to pick the period, for example This week or Last week, or choose Custom Range. Check that each day looks right.
If an older period is still unsubmitted, a yellow banner says “Your timesheet for … is not submitted yet!”. Click Review now to open those days.
Step 4: Click Submit timesheet and confirm
Click Submit timesheet. A window asks “Are you sure you want to submit your timesheet for” the selected dates. Click Submit timesheet again to confirm. All unsubmitted days in the period are sent together.
Step 5: Check the status
The submitted days change from Draft to Pending and are highlighted in yellow while they wait for your approver. When your approver decides, the status changes to Approved or Rejected.
Good to Know
- Submit timesheet is greyed out? The selected period has no unsubmitted time. Either nothing was tracked, or it was already submitted.
- Submitted too early? You can’t withdraw a submission yourself. Ask your approver to reject it or correct the time.
- Don’t see a Submit timesheet step? Your company may have turned off approval. In that case there’s nothing to submit, and your time is simply recorded.
- Submit every day or once a week? Either works. Many teams submit once at the end of the week, after checking each day.
